Doxfen POS checks your licence online at least once every 60 days. The check takes a few seconds. All daily operations work 100% offline.
What happens if I don't connect for a long time?
If the software can't verify your licence for 60 days, it will ask you to connect for a quick check. Your data is never deleted.
What happens when my free trial ends?
You'll need a paid plan to keep using Doxfen POS. Your sales, stock and customer data stay on your computer.
How do I pay?
Send us your phone number and the plan you want through the contact page. We confirm your payment and extend your licence.
Do I need to create an account?
You'll verify with your phone number during first launch. This registers you automatically — no email, no password, no complicated signup forms.
Can I use it on multiple computers?
Each licence is hardware-bound for security, so it works on the computer it was set up on. If you need more computers, please contact us and we'll set you up.
What printers are supported?
Doxfen POS generates receipts optimized for standard 80mm thermal receipt printers. It prints via your system's default printer dialog, so any printer your computer can print to will work.
Can I use a barcode scanner?
Yes! Any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner that works as a keyboard input device is automatically supported. No configuration needed — just plug in and scan.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. Your data is stored locally in an SQLite database on your own machine. It's protected with AES-256-GCM encryption. You can also set up automatic backups to any location (USB drive, network folder, etc.).
